You Don't Know Your Daughter At All
Just because she is no longer in a cradle
Does not mean that your baby wont fall
And if you think that her smile means she is happy
Then you don’t know your daughter at all
On arriving home from school she runs up the stairs
And locks herself away in her room
It’s so easy to think that it’s just teenage angst
That will pass in time and be gone soon
Perhaps you assume that it is just boy trouble
A romance that will soon be forgot
Yes, maybe her problems are just a passing phase
But then again what if they are not
What if they’re deep rooted in the parental soil
That you’ve been failing to cultivate
As she grow
Sit down, I want to tell you something! by WordOfChen, literature

Sit down, I want to tell you something!
Sit down for a second,
Because I want to tell you something.
I want to tell you and everybody else that walked over me.
That today, I have become something!
Just walk with me for a second,
I want to show you something.
You remember this; is it all falling into place?
Cause this is where you shut me down.
Now I didn't know what I was supposed to do;
Excuse me for being a loser, right?
I had to work up a lot of courage to ask you out.
But you didn't even look at anything beneath the surface.
So of course, you just flipped me off and walked away.
Thank you.
Because of you I went to the gym every single day.
Because of you I started lifting
Harvesting Stars and building Castles. by Ridderkvinden, literature
Literature
Harvesting Stars and building Castles.
We harvest the stars from the sky
And hide them in our pockets
Cage them within jars of glass
Like fireflies on a midsummer eve.
We build castles of sand and air
Devastated as the tide reclaims them
Breathing deeply in quiet sobs
As the sand runs through our fingertips.
We long and yearn for something
Never quite able to define what it is
Reaching for straws to keep above water
As the tide washes over us.
And the wind
erases our
footsteps
in the sand.
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST LEGACY - VIC'S REACTION!!! by The-DA-Ranger-Group, journal
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST LEGACY - VIC'S REACTION!!!
Wow, Vic really loves us Rangers, that is a certainty. *Dies of pure joy*
Fullmetal Alchemist Legacy Volume 1, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Legacy -The Making Of- Art Book were presented to Vic this weekend at last, and as I promised I have his reactions recorded for you all to see.
For those of you who don't know, the DA Rangers put together a simply amazing comic book based after the events of Fullmetal Alchemist, it was all just a thought from Vic at a convention several months ago after he was asked what he would do if he were to continue the story. We created a 1st volume of the comic, which will continue until the story is complete, and
Goodbye my dear old friend
How I wished it did not have to end
How we laughed and sang
Together with the whole gang
Goodbye my dear friend
How I wished that changes that now impend
How we once compared our scars
How we once gazed at the lone stars
Goodbye my friend
How we stood together till the end
How our days were filled with laughter and joy
How you made fun of me being a mama’s boy
Goodbye friend
Our time was not misspend
We will meet again one day
And we shall swing life away
